Welcome to the Wild Hog in the Woods Coffeehouse

Celebrating 42 Years of Folk Music
at the Coffeehouse

Three concerts to celebrate the Hog's 42nd birthday.

Something we can truly be thankful for.

Three mini concerts now available:

Created from video recordings of performers at our grand 40th anniversary in 2018, we have more than two hours worth of musical performances edited down into three easily digested concerts that available right now.

Part 1 features some photos from as early as 1978 when the Coffeehouse was founded.  Parts 2 and 3 features photos from the 40th birthday party.

The videos include performances by KG & the Ranger, Roxanne Neat, Gordy Hinners, Batya, Lisa Johnson, Skip Jones, Jamie Hascall, Peter House, Deb Kmetz, Larry Rungren, and many more. Even some of our founders returned to celebrate the Hog in these concerts.

Don't forget Phillup the Pig!

Show your love for Phillup and support our efforts to bring folk music to you during Covid. We have suspended charging admission to the Coffeehouse's concerts. You donations help us pay our rent to the Wil-Mar Neighborhood Center. So please tip generously to support the Wild Hog and the Wil-Mar Center.

via PayPal.

Wil-Mar is the neighborhood center where the Coffeehouse rents space during normal times. Wil-Mar continues to run it's social services and food bank, while losing income from the cancelled festivals that make up half of their annual budget. In support of keeping Wil-Mar in business serving those that depend on these services, the Coffeehouse is contributing half of the tips to Wil-Mar. So please donate generously to help us support, in addition to the peformer, Wil-Mar so they will be here when the pandemic comes to an end. Both Wil-Mar and the Coffeehouse are 501(c)3 charities. Some performers may opt to donate their half of the tips to Wil-Mar or an organization of their choosing.

If you experience poor or distorted sound on a smartphone:
Smartphones must mix the stereo signal to mono for the single built-in loudspeaker.
This could distort the audio for some or all songs. Listen using your earbuds or stereo headset for best stereo sound.
